Larry Jay Diamond, an American political sociologist and scholar in the field of democracy studies. Diamond is a senior fellow at the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies, Stanford University's main center for research on international issues. And served as the director of Stanford’s Center on Democracy, Development, and the Rule of Law.
